Hey,

Most remote sales jobs say they're remote. That doesn't mean you can work from anywhere.

I reviewed eight appointment setter, SDR, and closer listings to find out which ones accept applicants outside the US, what they pay, and what experience they require.

Here's what I found.

A quick publication update: Galaxy Arbitrage is moving to two editions per week. You'll now get your regular opportunity briefing on Tuesdays and a second edition on Fridays, featuring practical strategies, experiments, and tools.

Same mission, more opportunities delivered in a more digestible format.

The findings

3 of 8 were open to international applicants.

  • 3 Global / international: Global Pacific Support (Philippines), Sagan Worldwide (outside the US), and The Proactive Technology Group (worldwide).

  • 2 US-only: Hire Overseas and another Global Pacific Support listing.

  • 2 US time-zone requirements: AI Acquisition and Schnell Global. These specify working hours, not necessarily residency restrictions.

  • 1 unclear: A Global Pacific Support listing simply says remote.

Pay: $1,800–$2,500/month

Two internationally accessible listings disclosed monthly compensation:

  • Proactive Technology Group: $1,800–$2,200.

  • Sagan Worldwide: $2,000–$2,500.

That's approximately $10.38–$14.42/hour at 40 hours per week.

One closer listing advertised potential earnings of $20K–$30K monthly, but it was commission-only. That's an advertised earning potential, not guaranteed pay.

Experience: 6 of 8 required it.

Most wanted previous sales experience. The Proactive Technology Group was the exception: experience was a plus, but not a minimum requirement.

The opportunity - and the catch

International remote sales opportunities exist, but location eligibility is only half the equation.

Sagan's schedule is 9 AM - 5 PM EST, which means approximately 10 PM - 6 AM in Cebu. The Proactive Technology Group listing also describes a demanding outbound workload of 50 -100 calls daily. Insane especially if you have a power outage, that can really mess up your work.

The advertised salaries are not verified earnings, and this small sample isn't representative of the entire job market.

The takeaway

Before applying, look for these phrases:

Good signs: Worldwide, Global, Anywhere, Outside the US, Philippines Remote.

Warning signs: USA Only, US-based, US citizens, Authorized to work in the US.

If the listing mentions US time zones, ask whether international contractors are accepted.

Before sharing personal information, verify the employer and ask:

  1. Do you hire contractors living in the Philippines?

  2. Who is the actual end employer?

  3. How and in what currency are contractors paid?

  4. What are the required working hours?

Research based on eight listings reviewed October 29, 2026. Listings and compensation were not independently verified.

Are you currently working remotely, looking for a remote job, or building an online business?

Hit reply and tell me. I want to understand who's reading Galaxy Arbitrage and what opportunities would be most valuable to investigate next. Also let me know if you like this shorter email format?

The Beach was never the dream. Having complete control over my time was.
